With over 15 years of experience as a professional hair and make-up stylist, Sheree Pouls brings a unique sense of style, grace and artistry to her work. From working in all facets of the beauty industry including weddings, special events, T.V., feature films, print ads and fashion shows, Sheree has created her own niche.  With her unique eye for seeing hair and make-up as an integral part of the whole, she naturally enhances and compliments the individual style of each and every one of her clients.

Sheree started behind the scenes on the runways of New York . After earning her credentials from one of the east coasts most highly accredited cosmetology programs, Sheree started her career by working at a high end New York fashion show. After a few years of dividing her time between her salon clientele and fashion shows for various designers such as Chanel and Carolina Herrara, she made her way out west. She settled into the industry in Beverly Hills, working at Jose’ Eber and Umberto Salons, as well as freelancing for feature films, T.V. and print ads.  The demand for a stylist like Sheree, who could create both hair and make-up design and do it well, quickly became her trademark. Photographers, directors and other industry notables would soon comment on how refreshing it was to find a stylist that had the talent and creativity to bring about such a perfect balance.

It was a natural progression then in 1998, that Sheree would begin her transition into the wedding arena.   After years of experience working in so many areas of the industry, she naturally brings to her brides a sense of style that sets her apart from many others. Her work on various T.V. spots such as Lifetime T.V.’s “Instant Wedding” as well as her work in the pages of Inside Weddings and Los Angeles Magazine’s “Best of Weddings 2004-2005” to name just a few, has kept her sought after by many high profile wedding planners, photographers, and designers alike. Sheree believes that hair and make-up are an essential accessory to the bridal gown itself and should be treated as such.  Sheree’s make-up and hair design has been described as simple, natural, and elegant with a flair for bringing out the unique and individual style of each of her clients.

Because many of her brides wanted to continue working with Sheree long after their wedding day, Sheree opened Lips and Locks, a hip, but chic full service hair and make-up studio/loft in Venice .  Her clients enjoy a full range of services from haircuts and color, to make-up applications and lessons, and of course bridal and special event styling and consulting.
